This family venture began long ago when a Japanese Uncle, Takuo Hohri, taught his nephew, Greg, the the art of Origami or Japanese paper folding. Greg has folded various shapes for years passing along his passion to his family. A couple of summers ago Greg and Julia had the privilege of caring for a beloved senior member of their church by the name of Ann. In addition to spending joyful days together visiting, origami lilies were folded for “Miss Ann” much to her delight. Thus began the inception of 'Faithful Folds'.
These are unique, cheerful, origami-folded sturdy paper flowers. Each lily is carefully handmade and available in a wide variety of patterns and unlimited colors. At this point, these flowers are available to the vicinity of Charlottesville, VA and its neighboring areas.
WEDDINGS
These flowers are created for you to arrange as you would like. You can purchase these for yourself or for you to deliver to a florist who can create them into a hand held bouquet, table top displays, or venue decor. Let us know how we can help you!
SPECIAL EVENTS
Do you like a unique flair? Something that lasts longer than the life of live flowers? Faithful Folds fills an unusual need. Single flowers can be incorporated into gift wrapping. Then can be awarded to those have earned something special. You can represent your organization with your choice of colors!
HOME DECOR
Unlike living foliage, these non-allergenic paper flowers can be displayed in areas where plantings are usually not enjoyed; for example in homes of those with sensitivities or in certain hospital settings. The color and patterns we can provide are almost limitless.
CHARITABLE OUTREACH
Our mission statement includes donating 5% of the flowers we sell to an organization. The recipients will be named on a rotating basis. Because of the unsolicited generosity of some, we have already received some donations towards this cause.
